It does take a while but i would recommend soaking your nails in warm soapy water for bout 20 minutes. Then soak them in nail polish remover for 10 minutes. This applies for store bought nails, if they are from the salon I would recommend going and getting them removed at the salon.How do u remove fake nails without hurting you real nail?
if they are from department stores, run under hot water with a little soap and try to dig from under where your cuticle is
if they are done by the nail salon, go there and get them removed

Try soaking your nails in acetone/nail polish remover for a while, then it should come off pretty easy. Or you can just go to a nail place and have them remove your nails for free
soak in acetone. if you try ripping them off...a few layers of nail will lift off too...where as with acetone the fake nails dissolve and your natural nail is not as damaged.
